BADMINTON starlet Caitlin Pringle (14) has been selected to represent Scotland at under-17 level this weekend at the UK School Games in Bristol.
The Clarkston youngster only made her first international at u-15 level in April at the Quadrangular, Scotstoun.

Olympians returning from the recent games in Beijing will help inspire the players.

Caitlin said she is hoping the event will "help her learn from older and more experienced players."

It's a positive start to an important season where she is hoping to be invovled in a further two Scotland under-17 squads.

Currently, Caitlin is part of the East Renfrewshire Junior Badminton club and a few places are still available in in the seven to ten age group at St Ninian's on a Friday night from 6pm.

Anyone interested in joining should call 638 4091.
